Akron’s first Bike Week starts Friday, August 22. The city will be sponsoring daily events beginning with the dedication of the new Towpath bridge that will connect the Towpath trail to downtown.

Additional events will include workshops on bicycle mechanics, how to ride safely on the roads, and a Q&A about commuting by bike; a bike movie night; club rides; and much more.
