Antoine Winfield is an NFL cornerback currently playing for the Minnesota Vikings. He was born June 24, 1977 in Akron and attended Garfield High School where he was named Division I defensive player of the year as a senior.

Winfield attended Ohio State University where he won the Jim Thorpe Award for the best defensive back in the nation. He was then selected 23rd in the first round of the 1999 NFL draft by the Buffalo Bills where he played through the 2003 season.
