It has been nearly 10 years since LeBron made his high school debut December 3, 1999 as a Freshman at St. Vincent St. Mary scoring 15 effortless points on flowing layups and dunks with eight rebounds against Cuyahoga Falls.  

Well two more James debuts are right around the corner, the film and book debut for James. A documentary following James and St. V’s rise to the top,  More than a game, is in Theaters 10/2. And his new book Shooting Stars co-authored with Buzz Bissinger [Friday Night Lights] hit the bookshelves last week.  With media covering both the book and film, LeBron has been in the news. Way to go LRMR… 

Here’s a Q&A from Esquire when LeBron is asked how he ranks cities in Asia to Akron.

ESQ: Any favorite cities over there?

LJ: I like Beijing, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Tokyo —

ESQ: How do they compare to Akron?

LJ: No place is better than Akron.

ESQ: Fair enough.
